It’s Throwback Thursdays once again and this edit is from July 2010. Filmed in the Kayotics homeland of Boundary Bay.

We know Spring is rolling through and everyone needs to get a Summer stoke on, so every Thursday we are going to post some throwback footage that we find in the archive. To kick it off we have an edit from July 2010 filmed at Spanish Banks. Check it.

We had the chance to sit down with lady killer himself, Roberto Gonzalez-Milroy the other day and ask him a few questions about being featured on the Kayotics 2012 Tide Chart.

Kayotics: Hey Roberto so I hear you made this years Kayotics calendar.
Roberto GM: It’s true. 

K: On a scale of 1-1000 how excited are you to be on this years calendar?
RGM: This calendar is a big deal and since I have never ranked anything higher than a 10 point scale I am going to have to go big on this one and say 11. Nah, just kidding 1000+ for sure!

K: Are you more stoked that..
A. Kids will think you’re cool.
B. Chicks will think it’s hot.
C. You made your mom proud.
RGM: For most people cool is a natural thing. Im not sure if I am there yet because my mom always tells me that I am special, not natural. So I am going to go with A on this one.

K: How long have you been working out to be on the kayotics calendar?
RGM: 6832 Hours 45 minutes and 23 seconds

K: Do you think Minns is pissed that you bumped him off from being the previous years calendar model?
RGM: Knowing Minns he is on to bigger and better things while I am racing to catch up. So look for him in the next Victoria Secret Fashion Model shoot. He’ll be the one dressed as a palm tree.

K: Is this one of the more fun photo shoots you’ve been on or did you have more fun on runways in europe?
RGM: Don’t even get me started with Europe….they clearly don’t appreciate what I have to bring to the runways.

K: Do you think this could be your big break in the modelling industry?
RGM: It will most likely be my big break out of the modelling industry. I am not sure Mugatu from Zoolander will appreciate my pop and steeze. He is still getting to understand ‘Blue Steel’.

K: What kind of poses do you think you will strike for next years photos shoots?
RGM: I am hoping that next years photo shoot is PG13. Being apart of the ‘lifestyle’ is way too rad but may produce incriminating photos.

K: On a side note…Did rowing in university make you strong like bull?
RGM: Rowing?!?! You mean being a super bad asss that girls like right? 

K: I heard you rip up Vancouver night clubs with Minns and the homies and have some show stopping moves like MJ?
RGM: I call it my cross training from the beaches. Proper night life is all apart of the industry. Ladies who wants next dance?

K: I hear your tennis game is on lock and you get mad country club girls?
RGM: I sure hope they are not mad.

K: What are you thinking your gonna wear at the beach this year?
RGM: Skin is in ladies…

K: What’s your summer looking like on and off the beach?
RGM: Is there a on and off switch? It seems like the party doesn’t stop in the summer! Big thanks to Kayotics for showing myself how to be rad, introducing me to all the babes and bringing the word ‘cred’ to all new levels!

Saturday brought blue sky and Spring snow so we managed to kick our hangovers with a morning beer and visuals similar to this…

Yes, that’s $500 worth of king crab.

Unfortunately a lot of the antics weren’t captured on camera, but maybe one day you’ll get to hear the stories. Lastly, we will leave you with one last photo of a new friend we made. We still aren’t sure if his name was Big Cat or Big Gay, but we will leave that up to you to decide.

2012 is a big year for Kayotics and things are coming together with the new catalogue, website, crew, and everything else surrounding the lifestyle brand.
